Machu Picchu by Car
We will travel in our private vehicle. We pass through the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas on our way to the Malaga Pass, which is the meeting point of the Andes with the Amazon basin. As we descend we will have incomparable views of the beautiful Mount Veronica as we travel through a number of ecological floors as far as the sub-tropical area of Maranura. Finally, we will arrive at the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu.
All our programmes can be tailor made according to your requirements, whether regarding the length of your tour, any special interests or specific activities, flight reservations, optional destinations or tours.
Day 1: Cuzco – Santa Maria – Aguas Calientes
Breakfast in your hostel.
This morning we will leave by car passing through the Sacred Valley of the Inkas and following the course of the Vilcanota or Urubamba River, before ascending to the Malaga Pass (14,104feet), from where we will have magnificent views of Mount Veronica. Lunch. We will then descend through a number of ecological floors as far as the sub-tropical area of Santa Maria where we will enjoy our picnic lunch and after that we will continue the tour to the village of Hidro, arriving there at 4:30pm to get the train to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night. The afternoon is free to enjoy the thermal baths in town.

Day 2: Machu Picchu – Cuzco
Breakfast in your hostel.
This morning we will get up at 5:00 am to take the bus up to the ruins of the enigmatic citadel to Machupicchu, where we will be able to enjoy a beautiful sunrise. We will then begin our guided visit to the complex of approximately two hours, after which you will have free time to explore the site. Finally in the mid-afternoon we will return to the village of Hidro for the return bus journey to the city of Cuzco. Transfer to the hotel. Lunch and dinner on your own.
